Lyn

CEO / Counsellor

Lyn is a well sought after Therapist and CEO of CCWA. Lyn has studied extensively and is best known for her work in neglect, abuse and all forms of pregnancy loss including abortion. She is very compassionate, genuine, insightful and is committed to helping people through life’s difficulties.
Lyn strives to conduct herself in a professional and ethical way. She has a Diploma in Counselling, and provides individual and group supervision.

Julie

Administration Officer

Julie is a highly skilled administrator, working for over 15 years in various administrator roles. She is a highly professional and organised individual who has experience in accounts. She can work autonomously as well as part of a team with the adaptability that this role needs. Julie is a friendly, passionate, personable and caring individual, which has allowed her to work with clients in a variety of ways. Julie has brought a fresh eye to this role which complements our aim for continuous improvement. Julie is a wife, a mum and is active in her local church.

Emma Wilkinson

Emma

Emma is a very genuine, gentle, wise and nonjudgmental Counsellor, believing that it is only through a safe and respectful environment that people are able to truly express themselves. She is committed to providing support to clients to work through aspects of their lives that are causing difficulty.
Emma has a Bachelor of Social Science, majoring in Counselling, and is currently completing a Masters in Counselling Practice.

Denise has extensive experience counselling children and working with families in need. As a woman of faith, Denise, with God, joins clients on their healing journey to assist them to discover, accept and or find solutions to resolve what is impacting them or their families. Denise is a genuine, resilient lady with a love and passion for working with children and families. Denise has a Bachelor Social Science, Graduate Diploma Human Service and M.A. Human Service Counselling.

Kristy

Kristy is passionate about people, their uniqueness and the journey that they are on. She comes from an eclectic approach that is client centred. Providing a safe space to explore, discover, learn and grow through the difficulties that life brings. Creating an environment to do so through her warmth, compassionate, and genuine interest in who you are.

Kristy is a registered Psychologist with postgraduate qualifications in Grief & Palliative Care Counselling; Counselling Bereaved Children; along with modules in Art & Expressive Therapy. She is passionate about working with families, in particular couples, parents, children, adolescents and young adults and holds a special interest in grief counselling, relationship counselling, challenges around change, impact of faith and reaching your unique potential to live life to the fullest.

Amanda has experience in both the corporate and community sectors and is equipped with an ability to connect and journey with people though the many life challenges that we struggle with.
Amanda has Masters of Social Science: Counselling and Psychotherapy, Bachelor of Commerce: Human Resources and Business Administration.

Charlene

Charlene graduated with a Bachelor of Social Science, majoring in Social Work and Psychology, as well as Bachelor of Arts Honours in Psychology.

She has over 20yrs of experience in pastoral ministry and counselling. Her insightful, discerning and empathetic qualities ensure a respectful environment, where collaborative strategies can be fulfilled.

She is also the Associate Pastor at her local church, where she is passionate about empowering and equipping people to fulfil their purpose in life.

Lay (Faith)

Lay is a provisional psychologist with more than 10 years of experience as a student, church and community counsellor. She has a passion to reach out to the broken hearted with compassion in a professional, ethical and effective manner. She has a special interest in loss, grief and bereavement counselling. Other than English, she is also able to converse with her clients in Malay, Mandarin, Hokkien and Cantonese.

Lay has a Bachelor of Theology majoring in Christian Counselling, a Graduate Certificate in Loss, Grief and Bereavement, a Graduate Diploma of Psychological Studies, a Graduate Diploma in Psychology, and a Masters of Social Science in Counselling.

Kate

Kate is a compassionate, authentic and non-judgmental counsellor, who considers it a privilege to journey with people through counselling. Over the past 10 years Kate has worked in both paid and volunteer roles as a Youth Worker, where she has developed an ability to quickly build rapport with children, adolescents and young adults. She desires to provide emotional support and encouragement to people experiencing mental health issues and relationship struggles. She is a capable and effective therapeutic listener who has experience working with CaLD people and has a strong passion to support those working in ministry, navigating the challenges of church life balance. Kate has a Bachelor in Applied Social Science majoring in Counselling and a Certificate IV in Christian Ministry & Theology.

Raylene

Raylene believes in the unique potential of everyone. She provides a safe space for individuals, couples and families to explore and gain insight, understanding and self- awareness so that they can be empowered to be able to live an abundant and purposeful life. She is a genuine, compassionate, empathetic clinical counsellor who is constantly open to learning and growing as an individual and as a professional in order to serve her clients effectively.  She has nine years’ experience as a high school chaplain. She has special interest in working with trauma and Infant Mental health incorporating generational processes and patterns using attachment theory. She has a Masters in Counselling and Psychotherapy.

Sarah

Sarah is a Clinical Psychologist from New Zealand who is passionate about providing clients with therapy that is “the best of both worlds” – professional and effective, informed by quality research, whilst also in line with the truth of God’s Word and empowered by his Spirit. Sarah worked for seven years in New Zealand and one year in Darwin before moving to Perth this year. She sees children (10+), adolescents, adults and couples and is experienced in working with a range of issues including depression, anxiety, social difficulties, trauma, and marital difficulties. Sarah has a warm, caring personality and is passionate about seeing God at work in the lives of her clients, having repeatedly experienced how he is able to bring about transformation that goes beyond human capability.  She has a Bachelor of Science (First Class Hons) in Psychology, a Postgraduate Diploma of Clinical Psychology, and a PhD in psychology.
